Anyway it says, cockers are known to have dark eyes that hold a lot of emotion.
Cocker’s are so misjudged. D: People overlook them as your everyday pampered child’s pet. When most trainers say cocker’s should not be a child’s pet. xD
Cocker’s are amazing dogs when given the chance. Their so smart and loving.
What people don’t know is that if you aren’t careful about where you get your cocker you could get one with Rage Syndrome. Thats the /last/ thing you want your cocker to have. So I advise you, do not get a cocker from a pet store. It could be from a puppy mill and can carry that gene. Look for a professional breeder who knows the breed well. =D
I’ve had a few people tell me cocker’s should never be trained in agility because they are to slow and small.
Which rather upset me. Small dogs can and are just as good as your large dogs.
Also, American Cocker Spaniels ARE different from English Cocker’s. As the video shows, American cocker’s are smaller and have a shorter head.
Sorry for the rant. ^^; Its just, I’m tired of people miss judging Lucy just because of her breed.

it’s a great video and lovely song…and i do defiantely agree that cockers both english and american are ace. but i do find it quite annoying that is says not to have them as childrens pets. i’m 14 and obviously regarded as a child, i have a cocker who is two in september, i have trained him mostly myself and done agility too. what difference can an adult do to a dedicated child trainer? xxx

Any dog can do agility. Heck, I’ve seen Jack Russell terriers, Chihuahuas, and poodles do agility. They even have teacup agilities!

I have a Cocker spaniel and she is the sweetest calmest, and gentlest natured dog. The video said they are not good children’s dog. My Cocker is so sweet and gentle with little kids. Also I have no problem with training her or leaving her home. Very nice video though. Thanks for posting!!!!!
